Digital Learning

Digital learning is the portal to a global classroom

At ACG Senior College technology is woven through our curriculum, enriching and expanding learning opportunities for students, and setting them up for success in our ever-changing world.

State-of-the-art information and learning technologies are a core component of our teaching, and help prepare students for the modern world. They develop independent work habits in an interactive and supportive digital environment, and build skills to utilise technology in a mature and focussed way.

To maximise the benefits of digital learning all students are required to bring a laptop or tablet to school. They’ll use it to produce high-quality work, connect with digital learning resources and teachers, and manage workloads, schedules and deadlines. Specific software will also be needed for subjects such as photography, graphic design and music.

  • Access to computers

Technology is readily accessible to all students, and computers with appropriate software are located in many classrooms, science laboratories and the main library. Highly-specialised subject-specific technology is available for our graphic design, music and photography students.

  • myACG

Our specialised online portal, myACG, helps students, parents and caregivers stay informed. A personalised page, accessed via a unique username and password, monitors students’ progress, and includes academic reports, attendance records, weekly timetables and staff contact details.

Students can access announcements, assignments and grades, and parents can purchase text books, book teacher interviews and stay up-to-date, not only with students’ progress, but also with the wider school community.
