Tracey Dykstra


Tracey studied Psychology at Victoria University before travelling overseas including time in Japan where she taught English and learnt Japanese. On returning to New Zealand she completed her Japanese studies and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Auckland.

Tracey has extensive teaching experience at a range of both state and independent schools. She joined Baradene College as the Director of Teaching and Learning in 2007 and completed a Masters in Educational Psychology in the same year.

Tracey began her doctorate studies at the University of Auckland in 2016, investigating the leadership practices that make the most difference to students learning in the digital age. At the same time she was on secondment at the University of Auckland’s Centre for Educational Leadership.

Prior to joining ACG Senior College, Tracey was the Head of Teaching and Learning and a member of the Senior Management Team at Saint Kentigern College.
