ARA Lodge Annual Art Award recipient

Prudence Bowman was the ACG Senior College recipient at the ARA Lodge Annual Art Awards 2018 held recently at the Masonic Lodge.

The ARA Art Awards are given every year to visual art scholars selected by Art Departments from 30 Auckland secondary schools. Each award is $1,250.

Prudence was an A2 photography student last year who had also previously studied AS Printmaking. Teacher Debbie McLachlan said she was chosen for her commitment and passion for the Arts.

“She was unafraid to experiment with new processes and techniques, she challenged herself to think outside the box. She had a drive and determination to succeed in creating innovative, technically competent and highly original imagery,” she said.
