Welcome to
ACG Senior College

A specialist pre-university college for Years 11 – 13, our progressive, student-centric focus has seen us achieve significant success since our inception in 1995.

As one of the most respected schools in New Zealand, our students are empowered to be self-motivated and independent. It is an inclusive college encouraging intellectual freedom for self-expression. We are the only school in New Zealand to offer both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Cambridge International Examinations, our students have the benefit of choosing a qualification that best suits their needs. Our combined Year 11 programme gives a sample of both, enabling students to make an informed decision about which they’d like to continue with in Years 12 and 13.

    • Personalised approach to learning

Our personalised approach to learning fosters meaningful relationships between teachers and students, creating an environment that is supportive, inclusive and inspiring. We ensure our students are exposed to opportunities that extend their strengths, and maximise their abilities.

    • Student focussed

Our student focussed, personalised approach to learning brings out the best in each student. Small classes inspire effective participation, and our tutor system facilitates plenty of one-on-one time with teachers. We treat our students as mature young adults ready to take responsibility for their own learning, paving the way for a successful transition into tertiary studies and a brighter future.

    • Exceptional learning

To help instil a lifelong love of learning, we foster meaningful, rewarding partnerships between students and teaching staff. Our teachers are amongst the best in their subject fields and deliver strong learning outcomes and opportunities. Extended class periods of 80 minutes, and a longer school day, facilitate sustained learning that’s dynamic and highly effective.

    • Progressive education

Our urban school  tucked in the heart of Auckland City is a close walk to the Auckland Art gallery, national library, Aotea Square – and the campuses of AUT and The University of Auckland. Our urban location plays a key role in the progressive education offered at ACG Senior College.

    • Seven schools - a united approach

ACG Schools offer world-class education at seven independent schools across New Zealand and Asia, catering to a variety of student needs in a range of locations.

Our ambition is for every one of our students to unleash their potential. Through outstanding individual care, we create grounded, critical-thinking students who go on to fulfill their potential in life.
